🛠️ How to Restore a Backup (Step-by-Step)
✅ Step 1: Access UpdraftPlus

Log into your WordPress dashboard

Go to Settings > UpdraftPlus Backups

You’ll see a list of existing backups
✅ Step 2: Choose the Backup to Restore

Find the backup you want (check the date)

Click Restore
🕓 Pick a backup from before the issue began
✅ Step 3: Select What to Restore
You’ll be prompted to choose what to restore. Select:

💡 Most of the time, select everything to fully restore the site
Click Next

✅ Step 6: Log In Again (If Needed)
You may be logged out after the restore.
If your password has changed since the backup:

🔍 What to Check After Restoring
Once you log back in:

Visit the front end of your website

Confirm your theme, fonts, layouts, and plugins are working

Check that any recent posts/pages (added after the backup) are still there
