🖼 Why the Homepage Logo May Be Different
Many website designs use a dark background for the homepage and a white background for the inside pages. To maintain visibility and aesthetics:

A light-colored logo is used on the homepage.

A full-color or dark version is used on inside pages.
✅ Step-by-Step: Changing the Logo on the Homepage (Header)

Log In
Go toyourdomain.com/wp-adminand log in with your credentials. -
Go to Pages → Find “Home”

In your dashboard, click
Pages -
Look for the page labeled
Front Page— that’s your homepage.

Click “Edit with Elementor”

Right-click and open in a new tab so your dashboard stays open.

Wait for Elementor to Load

Give it a few seconds — sometimes it takes a while the first time.

Click on the Logo in the Header Section

As you move your mouse, different sections will highlight.

Click on the logo once it highlights.

Change the Logo

In the left sidebar, click the logo image again to open the media library.

Upload your logo from your computer by dragging and dropping it, or click Select Files and browse.

Choose and Insert the Logo

After the upload finishes, make sure the logo is selected.

Click Select to insert it into the homepage.

Click the Purple “Publish” Button

Once saved, the button will turn gray, indicating changes are published.

Preview the Homepage

Go to the front-end tab or click Preview Changes to confirm the logo has been updated.

🧭 Updating the Footer Logo on the Homepage

Scroll Down in Elementor

Navigate to the footer section while still in Elementor.

Click the Footer Logo

Same process: click the logo, then the image in the sidebar.

Upload or Select Your New Logo

Just like before, upload from your computer or pick one from the library.

Click “Select,” Then “Publish” Again

Done! Now both the header and footer logos are updated.

🧠 Pro Tips for Logo Resizing

If your logo looks squashed, stretched, or has awkward spacing:

Click the surrounding container or section.

Adjust the width by dragging the edges or using Elementor settings.

For complex logos or odd shapes:

Consider asking your logo designer to provide a horizontal or square version.

Canva users: resize and export a proper version there before uploading.
