Tweak It Yourself (TIY)

If you’ve ever clicked on a website’s Home, About, or Contact section… you’ve interacted with a page. In this short lesson, we’ll break down what pages are and how they fit into your website.

🧠 What Is a Page?

A Page is a standalone section on your website that displays specific content. Think of it like a digital poster or flyer.

✅ Examples of Pages on Your Website:

  • Homepage – The first page people see

  • About Page – Tells your story

  • Team Page – Introduces your staff

  • Practice Areas Page – Explains what you do

  • Contact Page – Lets people get in touch

Each of these is its own separate “page” within your website structure.

🚫 What Is Not a Page?

Some sections of your website look like pages but are actually managed differently.

News & Articles (Blog Posts)
These fall under a special content type called Blog, which is managed in a different module.

We’ll cover blogs in a future module.
