Tweak It Yourself (TIY)

Testimonials are a powerful way to build trust with visitors. In this lesson, you’ll learn exactly how to update, rearrange, and customize your testimonials section using Elementor.

🎯 What You’ll Learn

  • How to change a testimonial’s content

  • How to add, remove, or rearrange testimonials

  • How to change how many testimonials are visible at a time

🛠 Step-by-Step: Editing Testimonials in Elementor

✅ Step 1: Open the Testimonials Section

  • In Elementor, scroll to the testimonials section of your page.

  • Hover over the section and click the pencil icon to edit it.

✅ Step 2: Edit Each Testimonial (Slide)

Testimonials are usually added as slides. You’ll see something like:

  • Slide 1

  • Slide 2

  • Slide 3

For each slide, you can edit:

  • Name – Who gave the testimonial

  • Headline – Their role, business, or summary comment

  • Body – The actual testimonial message

➡ Just click on a slide, update the text, and you’re done!

🔁 Step 3: Rearranging Testimonials

Want to reorder the slides?

  • Just click and drag the slides up or down to rearrange them.

➕ Step 4: Adding a New Testimonial

  • Click Duplicate on one of the existing slides.

  • Edit the duplicated version with the new person’s details.

This is a quick way to keep formatting consistent!

❌ Step 5: Deleting a Testimonial

  • To remove a slide/testimonial, just click the X icon next to it.

🧩 Adjust How Many Testimonials Show At Once

Scroll down in the same editing panel until you find “Slides to Show.”

You can choose:

  • 1 – Show one testimonial at a time

  • 2 or 3 – Default for many sites

  • 4 – Tighter layout (only if you have space and short content)

💡 Keep in mind: readability is more important than cramming many testimonials. Make it user-friendly.

✅ Final Step: Save Your Changes

Once you’re happy:

  • Click Publish to take the changes live

  • Or Save Draft if you want to return later
