🗺 Step-by-Step: How To Update the Map Location
✅ Step 1: Open Your Page in Elementor
Go to the contact page in your Elementor editor and click on the pencil icon on the map section.
✅ Step 2: Update the Address
In the left-hand sidebar:
-
You’ll see a field showing the current address
-
Replace it with your new address (e.g. Rockefeller Center)
-
Elementor will automatically search for and display the location on the map
💡 If the map doesn’t update:
-
Double-check the spelling and format of the address
-
Try a more general location (like just the city) and narrow down gradually
🔍 Step 3: Adjust the Zoom Level
You can control how close or far the map is zoomed.
-
A higher number (like 18–20) zooms in very close
-
A lower number (like 12–14) zooms out to show a broader area
➡️ A zoom level around 16 is often ideal for local businesses.
📏 Step 4: Adjust the Map Height
Want the map to appear taller or shorter?
-
In the same sidebar, look for the Height setting
-
Drag the slider up/down or type in a specific value
-
Choose a height that fits well with the rest of your page layout
💾 Step 5: Save Your Changes
Once satisfied:
-
Click Publish to make the map live
-
Or click Save Draft if you’re still working on the page
Your visitors will now see the updated map reflecting the new address, zoom level, and layout.
✅ You’re Done!
Now your website map:
-
Points to the right location
-
Is zoomed to the level you want
-
Looks neat and fits your page design
This is especially helpful if you’ve moved locations, opened a new branch, or just want to make your site more user-friendly.
