MODULE 8: Getting Additional Support
0/1
Tweak It Yourself (TIY)

In the last lesson, you learned what pages are. Now let’s move one step forward: how to open a page for editing using Elementor, your drag-and-drop page builder.

🎯 What You’ll Learn

  • How to locate your pages

  • How to open a page correctly

  • How to launch Elementor for editing

🔓 Step-by-Step: Open a Page for Editing

✅ Step 1: Log into Your Website

Head to your WordPress admin area and log in with your credentials.

✅ Step 2: Go to the Pages Module

From the left sidebar, click Pages. This opens a list of all your website pages.

✅ Step 3: Open the Page in a New Tab

Right-click on the page you want to edit
👉 Choose “Edit with Elementor”
👉 Select “Open in new tab” (this keeps your admin dashboard open in the other tab)

💡 Why open in a new tab?
It’s easier to multitask, especially if you want to check other settings while editing.

⚡ First-Time Load? Be Patient

If it’s your first time opening a page, Elementor might take a few extra seconds to load. That’s normal.

  • ✅ Make sure your internet connection is stable

  • ✅ After the first load, it becomes faster in your browser

🎨 What You’ll See

Once Elementor opens:

  • You’ll see a visual version of your page

  • You can now click on any part of the page to begin editing (we’ll show you how in the next lesson)
