Tweak It Yourself (TIY)

Hi there!
In this lesson, I’ll walk you step-by-step through how to update your logo across your entire website, not just on the homepage.

🧠 Quick Recap:

In a previous lesson, we looked at how to change the logo on your homepage. But websites often have multiple sections – especially for headers and footers used on blog pages, service pages, or other sections. That means changing the logo on just the homepage doesn’t update it site-wide.

🔍 Understanding Headers and Footers

  • The header is the section at the top of your site. It often contains your logo, menu, and maybe a contact bar.

  • The footer appears at the bottom of every page. It can contain your logo, contact details, social links, etc.

The cool part? Our website lets you edit headers and footers globally so you only need to change the logo in one place, and it updates everywhere!

🛠️ Step-by-Step: Changing the Logo Across the Website

✅ Step 1: Login and Access the Header & Footer Builder

  • Log in to your WordPress dashboard.

  • Navigate to Header & Footer module.

  • You’ll see sections like:

    • Header – Blog Main (for blog listing pages)

    • Header – Blog Posts (for individual blog articles)

    • Header – Inner Pages (for all other inner pages like About, Services, etc.)

    • Footer (for all pages except homepage)

✅ Step 2: Open All Templates in New Tabs

To speed up the process:

  • Right-click on each of the header/footer templates.

  • Select “Edit with Elementor” and open each in a new tab.

✅ Step 3: Replace the Logo in Each Template

For each template (header and footer):

  1. Scroll to where your logo is placed.

  2. Click on the logo image.

  3. Click “Choose Image” and select your new logo from the Media Library.

  4. Hit “Insert”, then “Update” or “Publish”.

💡 If you’ve already uploaded the new logo while editing the homepage, it will already be in your Media Library—no need to re-upload.

✅ Step 4: Check the Frontend

  • Visit your site (e.g. yourdomain.com).

  • Browse through different pages:

    • About page

    • Service pages

    • Blog listing and blog posts

    • Contact page, etc.

Ensure the logo has updated everywhere – both in the header and footer.

🎉 That’s It!

Now your new logo is fully reflected across your entire website — clean, professional, and consistent.

This method saves you tons of time compared to editing each page individually. Just update it once in each global header/footer, and you’re done!
