0/1
Tweak It Yourself (TIY)

✏️ Lesson Description (What you’ll learn):

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to access your website’s dashboard — the control center where you can manage pages, blog posts, images, menus, and more.

📄 Lesson Content: Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Your Website Login Page

Open your browser and go to your login link.
    It usually looks like this:

    yourdomain.com/wp-admin

    or

    yourdomain.com/wp-login.php

  2. Enter Your Login Details

    • Username or Email: Use the one we provided you

    • Password: Enter your secure password

✅ Tip: Tick the “Remember Me” box if you’re using a personal computer.

  3. Click “Log In”

You’ll be taken to your WordPress Dashboard, which looks something like this:

    • A black sidebar on the left with options like Pages, Posts, Media, Appearance, etc.

    • A welcome panel in the middle with shortcuts like “Edit Your Homepage” or “Write a Blog Post.”

💡 Helpful Tips:

  • Bookmark the login page so you don’t have to type it every time.

  • If your login isn’t working, use the “Lost your password?” link to reset it (see next lesson).

  • If you see an error like “403” or “503”, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.
